Eid-al-Adah Festival

DANDENONG Park became a multicultural marketplace on Sunday 3rd of November to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha.

The Dandenong Eid Festival is an annual not-for-profit event to celebrate this holy event.

On Sunday festival-goers visited about 50 stalls adorned with food, clothing, jewellery, Islamic books, toys, show bags and more.

There were rides for kids of all ages, cultural programs, a Quran recitation competition, performances, charity auctions, congregational prayers, an animal farm and face painting.


Dandenond Eid Festival

The Dandenond Eid Festival is an annual non for profit event organized for the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne to celebrate the holy Islamic celebrations of Eid-ul-Fitr Eid and Eid-al-Adha.

This event welcomes all communities and is a non-for-profit organization focused on building bridges of understanding.

IEWAD is organised a food stall at the Dandenong Eid Show. 

The 2013 Eid Al Adha festival will be held on Sunday November 3rd 2013

from 11am till 9pm. Inshallah

* Saturday 05/10/2013 9:15 PM MOONSIGHTING ANNOUCEMENT: The Majlis Ul Ulamaa Australia have announced that the moon for the month of Dhul Hijjah has not been sighted in Australia. The month of Dhul Hijjah will start on Monday 07/10/2013. Therefore Eid Al Adha will Insha'Allah be on Wednesday 16/10/2013.

Eid Prayer will Insha Allah be held at Hallam Mosque, starting at 8:00 am (sharp) 16 October 2013.
