إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ لِدُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوِ امْرَأَةٍ يَنْكِحُهَا فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهَِنْ شِمَالِي نُورًا وَأَمَامِي نُورًا وَخَلْفِي نُورًا وَفَوْقِي نُورًا وَتَحْتِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ لِي نُورًا

“Verily, deeds are only with intentions. Verily, every person will have only what they intended. Whoever emigrated to Allah and his messenger, his emigration is for Allah and his messenger. Whoever emigrated to get something in the world or to marry a woman, his emigration is for that to which he emigrated.”

Our History

About IEWAD

Islamic Education and Welfare Association of Dandenong Inc. is a registered Muslim religious body with a registration number of A0032943V and ABN of 20 602 865 462. It is a non-profit organization. IEWAD has its very humble beginning some 18 years ago by the Muslim migrants. The aim and objective of the association is to propagate Islam, to teach all those who seek knowledge, through Holy Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh).. All work is carried out in accordance with the Islamic teaching. There is a Sunday school to teach the young and not so young, dawah and welfare work to the community at large, welfare work to local and overseas communities to the best of our ability. Dedicated voluntary brothers and sisters perform the work. There is a Muslim marriage celebrant and Justice of Peace.
